ADVISOR: KELLY PARSONS

The program was created to help freshmen be comfortable with being in the high school setting. The Link Crew is here to assist freshmen students not just with finding their classes but to help them do well in school. We put on various fun events throughout the school year to get freshmen involved on the VMHS campus.Please email: mparsons@murrieta.k12.ca.us

Teacher recommendations -
It is advised that you go and ask IN PERSON and then send them an email with the information needed. Feel free to use this template to email your teachers asking for a recommendation.

I am applying for Link Crew and would like to ask you for a recommendation. I appreciate the time it takes to complete a recommendation and am thankful you would consider filling this out on my behalf. I am interested in joining Link Crew because (INSERT YOUR WORDS). Here is the link you will need teacher recommendations

I understand AND ACCEPT THE foLLOWING as my personal code of ethics:

 

  1. Dignity - I shall respect the dignity and individuality of the people I encounter during my tenure in Link Crew

  2. Confidentiality - I shall respect the confidentiality of the helping relationships that I engage in as a Link Crew Leader

  3. Duty to inform – I understand that I have a duty to inform an adult supervisor about and situations regarding students in harm’s way

  4. Supervision – I understand I shall be supervised by a variety of adults and agree to follow the guidance that is offered in supervision

  5. School policy – I shall follow all school policies. If I neglect to follow policies, it could result in termination from Link Crew

  6. Honesty – I understand the importance of being honest and shall not be dishonest to benefit other students on this campus, as well as myself

  7. Leadership – I understand that I am a leader in this program and shall lead in a positive way both on and off the Vista Murrieta’s campus.

  8. Academics – I commit to maintain a 2.5 GPA and not have any grade below a “C” in any class. I understand that if at any time my grades drop below a “C” in any class, I will attend academic tutoring as prescribed by my advisor until my grades increase.
