Flores, Adriana

Welcome to Vista!

My name is Ms. Flores, and I've been teaching since 2004, driven by a genuine passion for helping students understand and truly enjoy the subjects I teach. I spent 13 years at Cabrillo High School in Long Beach before joining Vista in 2017, and over the years I've built a diverse instructional background across Social Studies, Humanities, and college-prep coursework.

I've had the privilege of teaching a wide range of courses, including AP World History, AP Human Geography, U.S. History, Modern World History, Philosophy, Psychology, Latino Studies, Ethnic Studies, Economics, and AVID. Each of these subjects has shaped the way I approach teaching — with an emphasis on critical thinking, cultural awareness, and helping students see the relevance of history and social science in their own lives.

I'm excited to bring that experience to our classroom this year and look forward to getting to know each of you!
